Partner and co-founder of the consulting firm RETAIL TECH, which advises companies in the food and retail business on strategy and specialized operations; Academic Collaborator at the Strategy and General Management Department of ESADE. Previously, he served for 13 years as CEO of The Eat Out Group, one of the leading modern restaurant groups in Spain, which owns brands such as Pans & Company, Ribs, or Dehesa Santa Maria and has a strong presence in the world of airport concessions. He also is or has been a member of various boards of retail companies (Congelados La Sirena, Nostrum-Home Meal Replacement, Enrique Tomás) and e-commerce enterprises (Groupalia-Nauta, Things 2Help, Worldcoo), as well as national and international industry associations (AECOC, EFSS, ALIMENTARIA-RESTAURAMA).
He is an expert in retail, with broad experience in business development and strategic review and business transformation processes. Ignasi Ferrer has a B.S. in Business and a Master of Business Administration from ESADE, a Master of Global Management from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird– Phoenix, Arizona), and a Global Executive MBA from Georgetown University (2009).
